DC Cosplay: ‘Suicide Squad’ Members Pack Punches and Plenty of Attitude
Has DC Comics FINALLY gotten it right? While we wait with bated breath, let’s check out some lethal Suicide Squad cosplays straight out of DC!
We all groan in remembrance of the disaster that was the 2016 Suicide Squad. From botched scripting to vicious, confusing editing cuts mandated from the studio to lower the movie’s rating, it never had a chance of truly succeeding against the titans of comic book characters turned film. Tomorrow is another day, however, and James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’ hopes to redeem these tragic… heroes?
The newest DC film dropped in theaters on Friday, and initial reports are showing a much stronger film response. As of this article posting, the Rotten Tomatoes score for the film is 91% for critics, and 84% for audiences, a unanimous vote of success!
The movie is a delightful romp into the depravity, and has some hilarious fodder for future cosplays. While it’s still a bit too early to expect any major cosplays from The Suicide Squad, here’s a trip down memory lane for some lethal (and lovely) cosplays from the 2016 movie.
