Get to know the characters of Marvel’s upcoming Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings in this new featurette and character posters.
The cast (Simu Liu, Meng’er Zhang, and Awkwafina) of Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings answer some of your burning questions about the characters they play on-screen in this behind-the-scenes featurette. Who is most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse – Shang-Chi or Xialing? Who is most likely to fall for a phone scammer and why is it Katy?
The movie stars Simu Liu (The Expanse, Kim’s Convenience) in the title role and he will be going head to head with the real Mandarin played by Hong Kong cinema star Tony Leung. The cast also includes Awkwafina, as well as Michelle Yeoh and Rosalind Chao. It’s directed by Destin Daniel Cretton with a script from Dave Callaham (who is a Brown-Belt in 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, which seems to have affected the movie in a good way).
The featurette also came with new character posters for Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Katy, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Na, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, and a yet to be revealed actor as Death Dealer.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrives in theaters on September 3rd.
