Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: Mark Perry’s Fantastic Goff Armylist
I’m really impressed by Mark’s Ork list from the Art of War crew. Let’s take a closer look at this fantastic Goff armylist!
The army wasn’t a Freebootaz list and looks like a pretty good all around Ork list. Exploding 6’s is extremely powerful and utilizing some Trukk boyz for a quick surprise hit is a very powerful option. Oh and Killrigs are pretty bonkers too – even with not being able to hide behind obscuring terrain and giving up some Assassination fun. So check it out and think about how you could tweak a 3 Patrol/Trukk Boyz Goff list of doom. Heck it even had Squig riders that love to explod on 6’s like a boss. Oh and it even had Beastsnagga boyz too – which is great to see something non vehicle/speed Freeks in an army.
Plus Mark is a pretty swell dude who I found out is a Farmer as well. He is a friggin crazy man and just a class act for competitive 40k. Onto the List.

Goff Tactics
This army can set up a very devastating first turn assault pretty easily with Mega Nobz, Warboss, and Kommados crashing a line. We saw this in action at the NOLA Open 2021 when Mark hit Sean Nayden so fast and removed his Hellions pretty quickly. It took a lot of punch from Sean’s list and something to think about as you continue to look at other Ork armies. I still think a Speed Mob is going to work itself out at some point too – but this is a great blue print list if you want to run something Ork like that isn’t a ton of Buggies.
