Age of Sigmar: Magmadroths Will Spit Hot Fire In The Next Battletome
We’re not talking about sick rhymes and raps either. Magmadroths are going to spew actual fire on the tabletop with these rules!
Magmadroths are some mean, lava-filled fire lizards that the Fyreslayers have a particular kinship with. Using them as mounts in combat adds a lot of beef to their roster and they also look fantastic to boot! In the upcoming Battletome, the Magmadroths are getting some updates to their rules to make them even deadlier than previous versions.
“These blazing beasts have been learning some new tricks – they can now build power for their Roaring Fyrestream attack, brewing up a raging inferno in their throats. Once unleashed, the ensuing gout of flame is hot enough to burn through even the toughest defences – it’s an ideal tool for clearing away heavily armoured hordes, especially now it can hit up to 10 times.“
Bring The Heat With Magmadroths
This updated attack is pretty nasty as it can get upto 10 shots. It also benefits the Magmadroth if nothing is in range to spit at by increasing the Rend by 2 for it’s next attack with the Roaring Fyrestream. That puts it at -3! Now that’s spitting hot fire indeed.
If you’re interested in running as many of these beasties as you can, the the Lofnir clan is one you might want to consider.
Extra wounds and bonus mount traits? Yes, please! And of course Lofnir also has the option to run Auric Runesons on Magmadroths as Battleline units — because someone had to! That means you could literally run an entire army of Magmadroths if your fiery heart so desires. That’s a lot of spicy beef on the tabletop!
