Join the One of Us crew for their Texas Chainsaw Massacre review and learn if Leatherface can still cut it.

In horror, no franchise ever really dies. Certainly not one as prominent as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original is widely considered to be a classic that really holds up over time. The sequel is the same director making a parody of his own movie and it’s fun. There’s a reboot that some like. Other than that? There are not a lot of films in this lengthy franchise worth spending your time on.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Review

Chris, Shak, Wright, and Trevor take a look at this latest entry, a supposed direct sequel to the original 70s film. They break down what works (because some stuff really does) and what doesn’t (and that stuff REALLY doesn’t), compare it to the other sequels, think about what defines Leatherface as a villain, and ultimately, probably much to your surprise, declare this the 4th best film in the series. Which, if you’ve seen the others that rank under it, that’s not exactly high praise.
