Blood Bowl: Star Player Thorsson Stoutmead Joins The Pitch
Did someone call for a Kegger? Star Player Thorsson Stoutmead is about to deliver one directly to the pitch!
Games Workshop announced the arrival of the Norse Team to Blood Bowl. They are bringing the kegs and the bacon. It’s going to be quite the rager! With the announcement of Star Player Thorsson Stoutmeada coming the party can REALLY get going.
“As his name implies, this Norse star player is both powerfully stout and filled to the brim with mead. He’s so enthusiastic for a mid-match pick-me-up that he carries an entire barrel around with him for on-the-go refuelling purposes, which handily doubles up as a blunt force trauma weapon.”
Naturally, as a Star Player, Thorsson does come with his own signature move. This one is called the “Beer Barrel Bash!” and it involves a keg and a knockdown.
Maybe he just wanted to share his keg with a worthy opponent. In Blood Bowl, it’s hard to tell a sporting gesture from an unsportsmanlike one. “Here, have a drink” seems like a polite phrase — unless it’s coming as a quip from an 80’s action movie. That seems closer to what Thorsson’s Beer Barrel Bash! was aiming for.
Thorsson Stoutmead can also be recruited to any Old World Classic team — not just the Norse. So if your team needs a boost or you just want to have a player who brings refreshments with them on the pitch then keep an eye out for Thorsson Stoutmead!
