Age of Sigmar: Arena of Shades Pricing Breakdown
We know what’s in the box and we know the price. So what sort of a deal are we looking at with the new Arena of Shades?
Time to call your best buds and figure out who wants to split up Arena of Shades. We know the price point now and we know all the contents. We can use that to figure out the overall pricing discount vs the MSRP of the items individually. So let’s get started, shall we?
Arena of Shades Pricing Breakdown
Nighthaunt Units
Scriptor Mortis (based on Krulghast Cruciator Price) $38
Craventhrone Guard *$40
Spirit Torment w/Chainghasts $42
Individual MSRP Total: $186.50
*We’re estimating this price point for now as there isn’t a comparable 5 man unit for Nighthaunt.
Daughters of Khaine Units
High Gladiatrix (based on the Melusai Ironscale Price) $35
Individual MSRP Total: $197
As you can see from the two breakdowns for the individual sides you’re getting quite the discount. With the total estimated value of the box clocking in at a whopping $383.50 you’re getting a steal of a deal as the price point of Arena of Shades is $190!
We’re also not counting all the extras like the mini core rules, warscroll cards, waterslide transfers, and the punchout tokens or campaign book. But you get the idea. Splitting this right down the middle with a friend is going to mean you’re basically getting your half of the minis for roughly 50% off. Spending 95$ to get all that is quite the discount — it’s almost like a Start Collecting! box. You think GW planned that one? I wouldn’t put it passed them.
Which 1/2 of the Arena of Shades are you interested in? Or are you going to start/add to both armies?
