The Games Workshop Collectible Coin for May is a Chaos Coin! Make some time to collect the sign of the warp gods.
I’m still getting over the fact that we’re already 3 days into May. Maybe this snuck-up on GW as well because they are just now announcing the Collectible Coin of the Month and it’s a token of chaos.
“The shadow of Chaos looms at your local Warhammer store, and tendrils of corruption lick at the edges of May’s miniature of the month. Will you resist the call to damnation, or will you take up the Warmaster’s (commemorative) coin?”

It’s the eight point star which is the iconic sign of chaos. Fittingly it’s the same for both 40k and AoS so if you’re a player of either (or both) systems this one’s for you! Sure, it might be a “40k coin” but c’mon — chaos is chaos!
The miniature, however, is distinctly 40k Chaos flavored. What is the free miniature this month? Why it’s a Chaos Cultist of course. Specifically a Cultist of the Abyss.
Just FYI, this may not be the exact model you get — but it will be one of the Chaos Cultists of the Abyss:
It could be any one of these models.
So if you want your coin (and possibly a free model — while stocks last) plan on making a trip to your local Warhammer store this month. Doing it sooner rather than later is the way to go! I snagged my Tyranid Coin from last month…don’t miss out on your favorite faction.
