Star Wars: Dolores from Imperial HR Cosplay Enforces the Rules of the Empire

If you miss your shots, breathe too loud, or forget to wear your helmet, Imperial HR will pay you a visit. Employee of the year Dolores from Imperial HR Cosplay is on the case.

It’s really hard upholding order and law in the galaxy, folks. Heavy is the head that wears the pearls of justice, but SOMEONE has to do the job. In the Empire, the job of keeping the storm troopers in line and supporting the Emperor falls on the newest Employee of the Year – Dolores from Imperial HR.

What started as a lark for cosplayer SunflowerStardust has become an internet sensation that recently swept the halls of Anaheim’s Star Wars Celebration. As Dolores from Imperial HR, she sweeps the Con floor, looking for dress code infractions and other out-of-order shenanigans to cite con-goers for. The result is hilarious, bringing smiles and sheepish grins to all ends of the Empire.

Recently, Dolores took her cosplay game to the next level – she went to a fan meet-and-greet for Ian McDiarmid, and staged an amazing video of Dolores winning Employee of the Year from him. Ian is obviously the hero we need but don’t deserve, because he is kind and plays along with the lark. The resulting video is priceless.

The Dolores concept is honestly one of the best original character cosplays I have ever seen. I am seriously jealous I didn’t come up with a bit this good.
