AoS: New Battlebox ‘Arcane Cataclysm’ Revealed
The Lumineth Realm-lords and Disciples of Tzeentch are getting a new Battlebox dubbed Arcane Cataclysm. The winds of magic are changing.
Games Workshop is showing off a brand new Battlebox with some new miniatures and an old rivalry. Here comes a the Arcane Cataclysm.
“Arcane Cataclysm is a new battlebox for Warhammer Age of Sigmar in which the Changer of the Ways seeks magical items buried in the wastelands of Hysh. Inside the box, you’ll find 55 finely detailed Citadel miniatures – perfect for starting new armies or adding to existing ones. There are also new battleplans and rules to play out the epic confrontation between these two ancient enemies.”
Arcane Cataclysm
The box itself will contain 2 different armies – the Lumineth Realm-lords and the Disciples of Tzeentch. Each will be lead by a brand new model. One of these was teased by GW in the Points update. The other is an old school villain with a new look.
Scinari Enlightener
Backing up the new character the Lumineth Realm-lords will have units of Vanari Dawnriders, Vanari Bladelords, and Vanari Auralan Sentinels. This seems like a very solid marital core for an LRL army.
The Curseling
Supporting the Curseling will be Tzaangor Enlightened, Kairic Acolytes and a horde of Tzaangors. The Disciples of Tzeentch sound like they are going to have the numerical advantage in this split.
On top of the 55 models in the box you’ll also get a 56-page book, tokens, and warscrolls for all the units. This box is perfect for splitting among two players starting out (or one player who wants to start both armies).
