Games Workshop is dropping more info on the Chaos Legionnaires and Centaurion Marshal coming to Warcry!

Hopefully, you’ve seen the fantastic looking new Chaos Legionnaires coming to Warcry. If not, then behold these cool miniatures:

There’s more to this warband as well. Unlike the other Chaos Warbands in the previous seasons of Warcry, these Chaos Legionnaires aren’t looking for Archaon’s favor — they have loyalty to Be’lakor. And today, we’re getting a bit more info on how the First Daemon Prince is blessing his followers with a new look at their rules.

“Reactions are one of the major changes for the new edition of Warcry. So when an enemy fighter gets too close, a Chaos Legionnaire can make a Call to Arms, allowing one of his buddies to step in and provide some retaliation.”

This ability basically calls in some backup for a Fighter that could use a hand. This ability is a nice way to double team an enemy that could have had the upper hand. These new reactions certainly add some new options to the arsenal — especially for more defensive warriors.

This ability allows for those defensive models to turn up their offensive abilities. And, it’s a fairly universal one thanks to the marks above! Even the lowly Hornshields of the Chaos Legionnaries has access to the Shield Ram.

So what about those dark blessings from Be’lakor? Well the Warband leader, aka the Decuriarch, does have a Dark Pact with Be’lakor — literally!

There’s always a trade off, but the damage potential is there! It could totally be worth it to take out an enemy fighter at range or to finish one off before they can escape.

Centaurion Marshal

A mix between a Centaur and a centurion, we have the new Centaurion Marshal! This beefy beast has a full subset of goodies all his own.

“This beast comes with a truly destructive ability when you roll a quad – Skewer, Drag and Bludgeon. It offers two potential bonus attacks even before factoring in the Marshal’s usual flurry of blows! There’s very little in Warcry that can survive such an onslaught.”

Oof! You do NOT want to get trampled by this guy. The Centaurion Marshal is an optional fighter you can add to your Warband and is another really cool model to boot!

There’s more goodies coming for Warcry — stay tuned!
