Warhammer 40K: Leagues of Votann Confirmed For September

The Leagues of Votann are taking over this September for the Collectible Coin and Miniature from Games Workshop.

This September you’ll be able to snag an exclusive new collectible coin from your local Warhammer Store. On top of that, you’ll also be able to get a new miniature from the Leagues, too. Wait…does that mean that Games Workshop just confirmed the League of Votann for September? Yeah… I think it does. More on that below.

September Collectible Coin

“While you’re in store, you’ll also be able to acquire September’s coin of the month while stocks last, which is also Leagues of Votann-themed and will be available from the 3rd of September.”

It’s a fancy looking collectible coin with the Leagues of Votann symbol on it. Personally, I appreciate the simple geometric shapes that form a face for the League.  On top of that, while you’re at your local Warhammer Store, you can also snag a League of Votann Miniature:

“You’ll be able to pick up one of these miniatures in store in September – while stocks last. Ask your local manager how you can get one when they’re available. “

Leagues of Votann Confirmed For September?

Okay, now let’s get to the big news: Are the Leagues of Votann confirmed for September now? Well, let’s go back a month or so ago when they announced that the new Rotmire Creed would be the featured minis:

“That’s right – instead of a model from an existing kit, people who make their way into their local store from Saturday the 13th of August will earn themselves a sweet model taken from the Warcry: Heart of Ghur box set. Just walk into your nearest Warhammer and ask staff how to claim yours! Then, almost every month afterwards, a new model related to that month’s big release will be available to collect in the same way.“

Emphasis added. The key part there is the “a new model related to that month’s big release will be available to collect in the same way.” Whelp, the new model for September is from the Leagues of Votann. And that sure sounds like it’s going to be the month’s big release!

So get ready because the Leagues are coming this September…now we just have to wait for them to land.
