Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: Abaddon and His Khorne Dogs
Goatboy here with another Chaos Daemon based army idea. Who Let the Khorne Dogs Out? Abaddon!
This time I want to look at utilizing some of the current Agent of Chaos nonsense you can do now. Abaddon is amazing in any Chaos army with his rerolls to CHAOS CORE. It also lets me do a lot of jokes about who let the dogs out as I plan on running a ton of Flesh Hounds in this list idea. You also have a lot of interaction with Reroll 1’s to hit, Reroll 1’s to wound, and +1 to all those charge rolls. That seems pretty dang brutal for an assault army. Without further ado, let’s talk about Abaddon and his daemon puppies!

Abaddon Khorne Dog Tactics
As you can see this is a very simple army – a wrecking ball of pure Khorne power. You have enough CP to push some of the Khorne things forward. Then you have Abbie in the middle, and you got your characters pumping up all your options. All but the Characters in this army are CORE so your rerolls work everywhere and you can get to the good ole job of murdering your enemy. You also do get the Warpstorm because Abbie ends up being an Agent of Chaos. So you can throw points in to keep your daemons alive and just – move closer and closer.
Thanks to Horton for talking a bit about this idea. I love the idea of Abbie surrounding by murderous daemons. This list fits the bill on something that could look cool on the tabletop. Go for a fully convert Abaddon overtaken by the rage of Khorne and get something unique looking. I could see his Daemon blade changed to a giant bloody axe and with red cracked armor breaking apart the Black Legion paint scheme.
