Does this horror movie shrouded in marketing mystery live up to the hype? Find out in the One of Us crew’s Barbarian review.

The non-spoiler version of the plot is Georgina Campbell plays Tess, a woman who shows up to her Airbnb in Detroit on a dark and rainy night only to find out there’s already someone staying there. The door is answered by a sleepy Keith, played by the actor who automatically makes red flags go off in horror movies, Bill Skarsgård. It seems like a mistake was made by the company that rents it but no one is answering the phone so the two renters after much caution and unsurety by Tess decide to share the house for the night. And that’s as much as I can tell you without spoiling the delightful surprises this movie has in store for you. At least here.

Barbarian Review

STOP! Our critics want you to know that you should stop reading anything at all about this film, and just go see it. Assuming you like really good horror movies. You can come back and listen to this really fun review with Chris, Wright, and Alan afterwards. Because although we start off completely and perhaps even over-cautiously non-spoiler, eventually we give a warning and dive into a full-spoiler review of this new film.

If you’ve already seen Barbarian, and you should, listen along with our review and see how much you agree or disagree with our take on it.
