Horus Heresy: Night Lords Upgrade Packs Bring The Spooky This Season
The Night Lords are getting some new upgrade packs for the Horus Heresy just in time for Halloween!
I guess technically the announcement is in time for Halloween but they probably won’t ship out to fans before then. In anycase, the Night Lords MK VI Legion Upgrade Packs are on the way from Forge World.
“The Night Lords aren’t the only Legion to draw their recruits from unscrupulous sources – but while the Sons of Horus might be happy with a gang marking here and there, the VIII celebrate their murderous heritage with perhaps a little too much relish.”
Night Lords MK VI Helmet Set
Featuring the creepy bone-plates over the respirators or a bat-winged version, these are plenty spooky! Also, I think the helmetless version has some battle damage. Which is why you shouldn’t take your helmet off in the first place…
Night Lords MK VI Shoulder Pad Set
Their shoulder pads feature bat wings and skulls — both grimdark approved. These should make your units really pop with that Night Lords Iconography.
The upgrade packs are designed specifically for use with the Mark VI Legion Tactical Squad box but you can probably slip in a few of these upgrades were you’d like in your army. Both packs are resin and are going to be shipping from Forge World soon.
I’m sure Konrad would be proud…if he ever stopped brooding.
