Warhammer 40K: ‘Arks of Omen’ Teaser 4 – The Silver Key
I don’t think this particular Silver Key has anything to do with the Lovecraft short story… then again, maybe it does?
This new teaser is a bit of a weird one. Not that the previous teasers haven’t been weird in their own way. Regardless, this one is all about a Silver Key that can open new doorways and new paths. Check it out:
And here’s the dialogue that goes with it. This time it sounds less like a poem and more of someone just sort of talking.

Curious for sure. If you’re not familiar with the H.P. Lovecraft short story The Silver Key it involves some Dreamlands travel and some timey-wimey hijinx. It is part of the Dreamlands series. Anyhow, the Silver Key allows for Randolph Carter to apparently travel back in time and return as his 10 year old childhood self. You can read the entire short story here if you’d like.
Anyhow, I’m only bringing all that up because of the voice over from the video. This Silver Key has something to do with those new doorways, paths, and possibilities. Could this be a time travel device? An actual key that opens some mystical doorway? What sorts of doorways, paths, and possibilities are we talking about here? And what does this have to do with the Arks of Omen?
If you want to poke around for more info you can always pop over to the GW website for Arks of Omen. Whatever is happening is going to be shifting the narrative forward and I don’t think the Galaxy is going to be unchanged afterwards.
The Warp is already pretty loose with time and space…Just sayin.
