It’s the last Rumor Engine for November 2022 but what the heck are we looking at? That’s what we’re here to find out.

November almost over and it seems the final countdown is about to begin. We’ve got a new Rumor Engine that’s an odd doodad for sure. But before we tell you what we think it is you should take a look for yourself.

“There’s only one entry left in the diary, but it seems everything turned out fine.

Day 234: I was wrong, there is no problem. The veil has been lifted from my eyes. The Rumour Engine is all. The Rumour Engine is life. The Rumour Engine will set us free.”

Also it appears the metanarrative of the Rumor Engine has uh…ended? So that’s good. Right? I hope whoever was writing that diary is doing alright. They probably just needed some “me time” or something.

Anyhow, what the heck are we looking at? My first guess is some sort of rocket nozzle for a propulsion system of some kind. That’s just want it reminds me of personally. That said, it could be something every different.

I’m not really sure why but I’m getting Dreadnought vibes from this Rumor Engine. I think it’s just the blocky bits that are making by brain make a connection.

That said, it could be pretty much anything from this angle. What we DO know is that it’s not organic. So we can probably rule out Tyranids. And it doesn’t look like Wraithbone so Aeldari are probably out. It also looks more “Grimdark” to me than Mortal Realms — but hey, it could be something new from either.

This is where we kick it over to you. If you’ve got any ideas of what this strange looking nozzle could be drop us your thoughts in the comments. Is it an engine? Something different? Something new?! Your guess is as good as ours!
