This movie is packed with spider-people. Check out the international Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse poster and its familiar faces… and masks.
The first trailer for Across-the-Spider-Verse focuses on Miles, Gwen, Spider-Man 2099, Peter B. Parker, and Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew). But there’s a bit with a bunch of others. Across the Spider-Verse is digging deep into Marvel history and across the multiverse for its cast. The latest international poster makes some of them easier to pick out. Take a look…
Who Are All of These Spider-People?
Peter Parker, Spectacular Spider-Man – The hero of the animated series that details Peter’s high school years, which ran on Disney XD. He’s been confirmed by producer Christopher Miller. No word if Josh Keaton will voice him this time around, it would be nice.
Spider-Cat – A house cat turned crime fighter who gained spider powers unexplainedly. He dreams about fighting a pigeon version of Venom and wins every time.
Doppelgänger Spider-Man – Not every spider-person is a hero. This six-armed, evil, symbiote-looking Spider-Man clone was created to fight Earth’s heroes. He’s not smart, but he’s super strong and shoots webs as sharp as razor wire.
Bombastic Bag-Man – Peter Parker hung out with the Fantastic Four at one point in his career, lost his costume, and had to put this one together. Spider-Ham and Maybelle Parker (Peter’s daughter) have also worn the bag.
Julia Carpenter, Spider-Woman – She gained powers, including precognition, after being unknowingly experimented on by a government program. Julia was given Spider-Woman as an identity by the organization and sent off to fight in the Secret Wars.
Patrick O’Hara, Web-Slinger – The Spider-Man of the wild west who rides a spider-horse named Widow and fights snake oil salesman Michael Morbius. Comic books are weird; go with it.
More of the Faces in the Across-the-Spider-Verse Crowd

There he meets a yogi that gives him the powers of a spider so he can take down a demonically possessed crime lord and bring peace to the city.
Hobie Brown, Spider-Punk – Hobart made his debut in 2015. He got his powers after he was bitten by a spider infected by toxic waste dumped by Oscorp. He leads the homeless and downtrodden of New York against Osborn’s goons and wields his guitar against oppression.
Ben Reilly, Scarlet Spider – Ben is the first Scarlet Spider. He’s a clone of Spider-Man created by Jackal to fight Peter, but he becomes his ally. Kaine Parker, another version of Scarlet Spider, has also been confirmed to be in the movie.
Flash Thompson, Captain Spider – He’s from a What If? storyline that gives Peter’s powers to the hot-headed bully and jock. Flash gets all of Spider-Man’s powers except for web-slingers.
Charlotte Webber, Sun-Spider – Charlotte is a human-spider hybrid with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes. She does her crime fighting with the assistance of a pair of forearm crutches that double as weapons.
