There are more beasts coming to the tabletop from the Ash Wastes of Necromunda. Meet this super-sized insect and the person who handles them.

Apparently, there are a whole lot more massive bugs in the Ash Wastes of Necromunda because there’s a Nomad Herder who looks after them. From the mounts they ride to other exotic super bugs, the Ash Wastes Nomad Herder can tame them all. So let’s meet this new beastmaster as well as a new insect that will be joining them.

“When they’re not in battle, the Ash Wastes Nomad Herder takes care of their super-sized insects, including the burrowing terrors known as Arthromite Duneskuttlers.”

The new Nomad Herder has a really cool looking chitinous blade. It also looks like it might be powered, too. I also like the back banner and the way this model continues in the same styles of the rest of the Ash Wastes Nomads. Although, that is a mighty large breathing apparatus.

The Arthromite Duneskuttlers is a burrowing creature. When paired with the Ash Waste Nomad Herder it becomes a deadly ambusher and shock troop.

“When they feel vibrations from above, they launch out of the sands in a blur of carapace and claw, dragging their catch down below. “

And if you thought these models were just a new pair of pretty faces you might like to know they are also getting some new rules to match.

I guess you can’t keep a good bug down! What the heck are these things anyhow, Rad Roaches? Actually…don’t answer that. Just know that if you do happen to add one to your gang they are going to work pretty hard to repay your investment in them. They don’t die easy in the Post-battle sequence and have some pretty good odds to keep on coming back for more. As long as you have both the Nomad Herder and the Duneskuttler around…
