Total War: Warhammer 3 Celebrates 1st Anniversary With Giveaways & Updates
It’s the 1st anniversary of Total War: Warhammer 3 this week, and to celebrate there are giveaways and, later this week, an update!
My how the time flies. Often it flies very close to the ground, much more slowly than you’d expect, and it’s full of “wait it’s only Tuesday” contrasted with “wait how is it Tuesday again already?” But time, whether real or illusory, continues to advance. Which means that here we are a year later and Total War: Warhammer 3 has been through a lot.
From a much-hyped launch to a very rocky middle culminating in what is ultimately the best way to play the game (lookin’ at you Immortal Empires), it’s been a journey. One that many players have embarked on. And now, to celebrate the first year of that journey setting out, Creative Assembly has a lot planned for their anniversary week. But most importantly, this includes an update coming later this week.

The news that an update was coming “later this week” excited many in the community. It could be one of their signature FreeLCs with a new Legendary Lord. Cathay, in particular, is hurting in that department with only two Legendary Lords to the whole faction at the moment.
Whatever the update is, we’ll have to wait and see. But you might be interested in checking out the streaming schedule for the week:
During each of the streams, Creative Assembly will be doing giveaways. Though giveaways of what, exactly, is anyone’s guess. Still, as Warhammer 3 heads into its second year, it’s in a much better place than ever before.
Now all that’s left is to see what else comes for Immortal Empires and beyond.
