A new March of the Machine teaser trailer gives us a look at the heroes of Magic: the Gathering, preparing for one last fateful stand.
The next Magic: the Gathering set is going to determine the fate of reality. And throughout Magic’s multiverse of Planes, it seems the Phyrexians are poised to win. Unless, as is posited in this new March of the Machine teaser trailer, Magic’s greatest heroes can rally for one last stand.
Oh they’ve got Colossal Dreadmaw? Nevermind, existence is safe. Colossal Dreadmaw is going to kick those Praetors all the way back to the Thran Age.
Memes aside, though, the trailer does set up the stakes of the most ambitious planar battle since all the Planeswalkers had to band together to try and stop Nicol Bolas. Or the Eldrazi. But check the trailer for yourself and see just how cool it looks.

Well this is it folks. March of the Machine is here at last. And that means spoilers aren’t far behind. So whether you’re invested in seeing how your favorite Planeswalkers deal with the fact that they’re secret Phyrexians, or curious as to how many new mechanics you’ll be juggling come your next big Commander game, there’s a lot to get excited for.
The new set drops in April. And with it, this chapter of Magic: the Gathering comes to a close. Where will we go next? Well we know this, actually. It’s March of the Machine – Aftermath, and then Shadows Over Innistrad remastered. Followed by a brief jaunt to the Wilds of Eldraine in Q3. But where will the story go? What will be happening on the cards you use to make your friends regret deciding not to attack you this turn?
For that, we’ll just have to wait and see
