Marvel: Crisis Protocol – M.O.D.O.K. Gets A Facelift
M.O.D.O.K. is getting a new model along with new rules in Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Send in the scientist supreme!
The original M.O.D.O.K. kit was one of the early Marvel: Crisis Protocol kits released for the game. Now, he’s making a return to the tabletop with a brand new kit with some fancy looking upgrade and updates.

The new sculpt shows M.O.D.O.K. in a more aggressive stance. He’s got a pair of weapons out and ready to fire and looks as if he’s got a particular target in his sights.
He’s also got an appearance of movement thanks to the flames on the bottom of his uh…chair. The face sculpt is just as eerie as the the original version, too.
It’s a nice update to the miniature for sure but this new sculpt doesn’t replace the old one entirely. Infact, it’s going to have a new stat card with abilities included. M.O.D.O.K. Scientist Supreme is a nice alternative option for the older character much like we saw Atomic Mass Games do for the Hulk recently.
Personally, I like these alternate versions of the same character with the new sculpts. I think it’s a cool way to update a character that might be showing it’s age rules-wise. That said, I do hope MCP also continues to add more and more characters to the roster. And, because it’s based on Marvel Comics, I don’t think that will be a problem anytime soon.
