D&D Stuff For Your Nerdy Mom
Did you forget about Mother’s Day? Is your mom a big nerd? Quickly order one of these things and claim it got delayed!
Today is Mother’s Day. Did you get your mom something? Did you forget to get your mom something? Well, we (may) have you covered. If you happen to have a nerdy, RPG-playing mom, these are a few last-minute gifts you can order. You can trust me, I am a nerdy RPG-playing mom. Just pretend you ordered it before right now. I won’t tell.
1. Gaming Table Topper
Gaming tables are expensive. But you know what’s relatively affordable? Gaming table toppers. These can turn any dining room table into a felt-lined gaming table, complete with cup holders. When the game is over the topper folds up, is stored safely in its bag, and the table goes back to being a table. I’ve been eyeing various gaming tables for years, and I keep coming back to this as an option. And with a bunch of sizes and color options to choose from, it’s a relatively customizable gift.
2. Ultimate D&D Travel Bag
Unless you do all of your gaming online, some members of your party are going to have to do some traveling. Even if the DM doesn’t live too far away, lugging all of your books, sheets, notebooks, minis, dice, etc. back and forth can be a hassle. Unless you have a perfect bag-slash-home base for everything. That’s exactly what this bag is. There’s room for everything you could ever need and a map.
3. Glow Dice
I think the perfect gift is sometimes something that the recipient doesn’t but would still want and love. And light up dice are such a perfect example of this for me. Are they necessary? No. Would I ever buy myself LED glowing dice? No, there are a million things I’d buy for myself first. Are they fun as heck anyhow? Yup!
4. Dice Holder-Slash-Tray
Almost everyone who plays D&D has way more dice than they need, and if you have a ton of dice you’ll need a place to store them. This case has a rugged, hard shell to keep all of your shiny number rocks safe, and it has room to hold up to 150 of them. And when you unzip this bad boy, there’s an entire dice-rolling surface right there. We love a multitasker.
5. A Big, Comfy Sweatshirt
One of the best things I got for Mother’s Day this year was a pair of sweatpants that toe the line between ‘fit great’ and ‘comically large.’ They’re so comfortable and I love them. This is to say, you can’t go wrong with something made for maximum comfort and coziness. Something like this hoodie combines comfort and a really pretty D&D design.
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money for our moms!
