Warhammer 40K: Darktide has come a long way from launch. And to be fair, it’s had a long way to come, from launch. But with devs focusing a little more on gameplay and bugfixes, it seems the game is starting to take the shape many wished it had had from the outset.
And now, with Warhammer Skulls behind us, we’ve got a look at what the future holds. Warhammer 40K: Darktide Rejects Unite will be the biggest “content drop” yet for the game. With it, come new missions, community events, and of course, Chaos Spawn.
Warhammer 40K: Darktide – Rejects Unite
During Warhammer Skulls, we got a look at what exactly would be in the new Rejects Unite content drop. As you might expect, there are a number of cosmetic enhancements, because it wouldn’t be a Warhammer -tide game of any kind if you couldn’t customize your character with “visual enhancements.” Darktide is no exception.
Pictured above, you can see a variety of cosmetics, including:
- Veteran wearing the Achlys Mk IIb Cyclops Helm, Armoured Combat Vest, LeatherTanker Togs and Mk IV Ahabian Prosthetic limb from Commodore’s Vestures.
- Ogryn wearing Knee-Smasher’s Garb (XXXXL) from the Commissary
- Zealot in Saintly Lazar’s Vestments from the Commissary
- Psyker wearing the “Penance” Redemptor’s Veil, Black Medusa Psykana Collar (Morlox style regalia),”Penance” Psyker Trousers from Commodore’s Vestures.
Along with the new cosmetics? A new trailer. This gives us a glimpse of the new Chaos Spawn in action, as well as a brief rundown of the two new missions featured in Rejects Unite: Archivum Sycorax, and Ascension 31.
Archivum Sycorax is an espionage mission in the Throneside map, while Ascension Riser 31 is a strike type mission taking place in the transit hub.
