We’re back with more Magic shenanigans featuring everyone’s favorite Doctor (yours is bound to be here) in these Doctor Who spoilers!
More Doctor Who spoilers emerged over the weekend. And with them come all those sad memories of your favorite episodes where you got to watch David Tennant’s heart just being ripped out of his chest and stomped on the ground. Or maybe you liked one of the other Doctors on display here! There’s something for everyone in this batch of spoilers.
Magic and Doctor Who make a lot of sense together. Both involve time/reality hopping shenanigans. And the Planechase mechanic is absolutely fitting for the many places that the TARDIS takes you. Assuming you don’t hit a fixed point in time.
Magic x Doctor Who Spoilers – Doctors, Companions, Tragedies
The Doctor Who spoilers abound. Starting with Missy, who will help make everyone a Cyberman. At least until you decide to Un-Cyberman them with something like Skirk Alarmist or the like.
Here we see River Song in Time Lord form, with some powerful abilities. Including something that reacts to an opponent’s scrying, hitting them hard any time they go peeking. But also the card from the bottom of your library feels like it could play well with other “put on the bottom of your deck in any order” cards.
Speaking of cards that just mess with mechanics, the Face of Boe lets you play havoc with suspend.
And the Fourth Doctor gets to hand out jelly babies whenever you cast a legendary, artifact, or saga-type card. Historics for the historic Doctor.
And the Thirteenth Doctor gets some amazing powers from Paradox and really shows that teamwork makes the dream work. Let’s check in on what the Tenth Doctor gets up to.
