The Phantom Liberty expansion has landed at last, and Night City will never be the same. Espionage and Idris Elba await.

Phantom Liberty launched today for Cyberpunk 2077. This massive DLC expands the story and provides a new conclusion for folks to enjoy. With themes of espionage and a conspiracy deep within the NUSA, it hits a lot of Cyberpunk’s deep lore.

You can see more of the tabletop game’s influence in the video game. Cyberpunk RED and its newest books have left their mark on Night City. And now with new skills, new talent trees, and a storyline full of twists you won’t see coming, V and Johnny Silverhand have a lot to wade into.

Phantom Liberty – Out Now

Phantom Liberty is an upcoming spy-thriller expansion for #Cyberpunk2077. Return as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?

This is the Cyberpunk 2077 everyone has been waiting for. With a whole new wrinkle on what it means to be free, and what it means to strive for the brass rings in the world of Cyberpunk, there’s a ton of new content to dig through. And by all accounts, slow and savoring is the best way to do it.

The developers recommend starting a whole new playthrough. And it’s not hard to see why. The game is fundamentally different on a number of levels. If you just load up your maxed out Edgerunner, you’ll not get to experience the wonder of the new Night City. You won’t get run down by NCPD when you piss off the wrong innocent civilians. You won’t learn which of your cars have mounted weaponry.

Nor will you know the joy of slicing someone with your cyberkatana from the back of a motorcycle. It’s so good. Get it now wherever you grab your PC games.
