Age of Sigmar: What We Want To See At Warhammer Day 2023
Games Workshop is kicking off Warhammer Day 2023 tomorrow. These are the things we hope to see at the big show for Age of Sigmar!

Now, we already had some predictions for Warhammer 40,000. So let’s dive into the Mortal Realms side of the house and talk about what we hope to see tomorrow!
Dawnbringers Book III (and maybe IV) Revealed
Things have been relatively quiet on the AoS front since the Dawnbringers Book II: Reign of the Brute landed. I mean, sure we’re all still recovering from those crazy troggs and the firepower of the Kharadron Overlords from this book…but still, it’s been almost radio silence about AoS since then. So, for the big show, I’m hoping GW drops some lines on the two books that are left in this series. And that brings us to the next thing we hope to see…
More Dawnbringers Boxed Sets
With each book we’ve also seen new batches of Dawnbringers boxed sets. I suspect that we’ll probably get those teased along with (hopefully) some sweet new models as well. Each box thus far has had a special character in them so…here’s hoping for some fresh blood in whatever boxed sets GW has planned. And speaking of blood…
New Battletome Reveal – Please Be Flesh-eater Courts
Can we get the confirmation on the final Battletome for the year? And will it be Flesh-eater Courts or was Jerrion’s Delegation their only release? Man, that would be a kick in the grave crypt…on the other hand what other army could it be?! Whatever happens I hope we get the confirmation and I hope that the army has some excellent new models to show off.
Post Dawnbringer Plans Reveal
Dawnbringers is another one of those big, Mortal Realm spanning events. It feels like it wants to hype us all up for something big coming. My gut tells me that we might be in for a new edition for AoS next year — once Dawnbringers wraps up and the final Battletome comes out. However, GW typically does new major releases in the Summer. So what the heck is going to come in the Spring of ’24? Perhaps we’ll get that teased out tomorrow!
More Stormcast Releases!
This is a last minute addition but I think that we could see some new Stormcast releases at the big show. GW partnered up to have Realms of Ruin coming out (which has a demo you can try on Steam right now, btw). And today they announced that you can swap the Liberator unit over to Thunderstrike Armour as an alternate skin. I wonder if GW is going to re-release those kits in a new boxed set or something…Personally, I don’t play Stormcast Eternals but they are literally the biggest faction in AoS. So it would seem like a big announcement for them during Warhammer Day would happen. They are the poster boys afterall.
