Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin – Final Faction ‘Disciples of Tzeentch’ Reveal
The final faction for Realms of Ruin has been revealed. The Disciples of Tzeentch are changing things up on the digital front!
In case you missed it, we already knew the first three factions for the upcoming RTS game Realms of Ruin. There’s the Stormcast Eternals, Kruleboyz, and Nighthaunt. Each faction is from a different Grand Alliance so it all made sense. However, there was one Grand Alliance that was missing: Chaos. Now we know who the final faction is that will be representing them and it’s the everchanging Disciples of Tzeentch!
“Tzeentch has his eyes set on Ghur for reasons unknown, and his mortal and daemonic followers utilise a mix of powerful magical debuffs, ranged offensive magic attacks, and abilities that call on Tzeentch’s mastery of fate and magic, led by scheming sorcerers like the hulking Ogroid Thaumaturge and the Lord of Change.”
Realms of Ruin – The Disciples of Tzeentch
The trailer above goes over a ton of info about the faction and shows off quite a few units. There’s some big ones in there like the Lord of Change and some uprising options like the Ogroid Thaumaturge. There’s also some must-haves like various Tzaangors and Horrors, too.
As you might have guessed this faction is going to focus on the heavy use of magic and ranged abilities to weaken and destroy enemy units. They don’t appear to be very tough up close — but that’s all part of the plan from Tzeentch! Cunning generals are going to bait you into charging headlong in to a kill box of their design and will snap it closed before you realize you’re in too far.
The Disciples of Tzeentch can be played as part of the single player campaign or in PvP matches (either 1v1 or 2v2) like the other factions. They naturally have full support in the army painter mode and you’ll be able to customize quite a bit of this faction’s look. And don’t forget about that awesome looking Map/Scene Editor, too.
Warhammer: Age of Sigmar — Realms of Ruin launches on the 17th of November and will be available on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and also on console for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Change is coming…
