‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Ultimate Edition Launches With New Featuers, Makeouts, And More
Cyberpunk 2077 got its last big update today. The Ultimate Edition has launched for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
Saddle up for one last ride into Night City, like never before. The Ultimate Edition is here, and Cyberpunk 2077‘s last big update makes it a game worth revisiting. As tunes from the in-game radio station start playing, both Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba want you to know that in Night City, the future is yours for the taking.
At least, that’s what they have to say in the big new Ultimate Edition launch trailer. Which you can check out below.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition – Launch Trailer
“Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is an open-world, action-adventure RPG containing every story set in Night City, featuring a host of memorable characters including rebellious rockerboy Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) and veteran secret agent Solomon Reed (played by Idris Elba). Play as V, a cyberpunk mercenary, and take on the most powerful forces of the city in a fight for glory and survival. Dive into the base game, its critically acclaimed spy-thriller expansion Phantom Liberty, and experience the game-changing Update 2.0 — all in one package. Legends are made here. What will yours be?”
In the new trailer, we get even more of a glimpse at the revamped Night City. As we saw in yesterday’s feature overview, the Ultimate Edition update is a major change for the game. It gives you a reason to replay if it’s been a minute since your V went sailing off into the sunset.
And if you’ve never played before, it gives you a reason to stick around in Night City as long as possible. Because one of the big problems about 2077 at launch, and through a few of the earlier updates, was that once you made it through the quests—and don’t get me wrong, there are a ton of quests in the game, and they feature incredible writing (for the most part)—you end up with little else to do in Night City
But now, with replayable street racing, with revamped motorcycle stunts and combat, there’s more to do than ever once you’ve hit the level cap.
Especially since the game plays very differently now. Folks who are fans of roleplay will have the chance to hang out with their lover, be it Judy Alvarez, Keery Eurodyne, Panam Palmer, or River (I guess, sure, he’s fine).
Which just adds a bit more dynamism to a city that thrives on neon, money, and violence. And for those who love to push their systems to the limits, the graphics have been improved even further. And that’s all before you add mods.
Check out Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam!
See you in Night City.
