The Solar Auxilia is bringing even more Malcadors to Legions Imperialis. And this time they are cooking with gas!

When it comes to fighting with and against “gene-augmented super-soldiers” there’s one thing that can really even the playing field: Tanks! For the Solar Auxilia they have plenty of armor to bring out to play. Today, we’re getting a look at a pair of new variants of the Malcador coming to bring the pain.

Malcador Infernus

“Envision this scenario: your opponent has squads of infantry garrisoned in a densely packed city environment – sure, you could bring all those structures down with a salvo of shells from your Medusas, but that just leaves ruins for your foe to hunker down in.

The Malcador Infernus solves this problem with its inferno gun, which unleashes ceaseless torrents of inescapable flame – the correct way to remove stubborn stains and dug-in infantry. It even has a little carriage with a fuel tank hitched to it, enabling it to maintain that torrent of purifying flame.”

This classic tank is back and now in even more miniature form. The flame spewing Infernus is perfect for baking anyone and anything that needs to cook.  This version has an inferno gun and also sports a tiny fuel tank carriage. Personally, I hope they have a special rule involving a possible explosion if the fuel tank gets hit…

Malcador Valdor Tank Hunter

On the other end of the spectrum we have the Valdor Tank Hunter variant. This one brings a deadly neutron laser to bare. Capable of punching through the toughest of armor this is more of a scalpel as opposed to a flame thrower. Clearly this is the one you’d use if you’re looking to drop other tanks or Titans in their tracks!

“In a box you’ll get a pair of Malcador Infernus and a pair of Valdor Tank Destroyers, with a choice of lascannon or autocannon sponsons for each, giving you plenty of options when expanding your Solar Auxilia force. “

This new set of Malcadors are rolling out soon from Games Workshop.
