Games Workshop: Advent Engine Day 16 ‘Hard Spirits’
Either someone is getting tipsy or we got a bottle full of ghosts getting poured out. It’s Day 16 of the Advent Engine from Games Workshop.
Welcome to the Advent Engine! It’s that special time of year when Games Workshop’s teaser department kicks into overdrive and we get the Advent Engine every day for (almost) a month! Today’s image involves a bottle, a potion, and some Hard Spirits getting dumped out. You probably don’t want a sip of this one but take a look for yourself!
“The Advent Engine has delivered another teaser for you to pore over… or should that be pour? Whatever’s in this flask looks delicious, doesn’t it? No? Just us? Oh well.”
Advent Engine ‘Hard Spirits’
Booze jokes aside this is a cool looking image. We do have the obvious signs of a the spectral form leaving this potion bottle. Those faces remind me of all the various Ghosts and Gheists in Nighthaunt. In fact, that hand could also be a spectral hand based on it’s dimensions.
Could we be in for a new ghostly presence? That very well could be! Games Workshop tends to get pretty creative with the Nighthuant characters. That’s because their eternal torment typically fits their mortal “crimes” according to Nagash’s judgement. That’s why we have characters like Awlrach the Drowner (above), the Scriptor Mortis, and the Krulghast Cruciator.
Again, look at those hands and notice the featured stretched into that supernaturally creepy zone. Not to mention all the spirit smoke coming off all these characters. That this point, I can’t unsee it. So if you’ve got a different take on this one drop us a line in the comments.
