Games Workshop: Advent Engine Day 19 ‘Alchemical Concoction’
Today’s Advent Engine from Games Workshop is dabbling in some alchemical concoctions. Either that or prepping for a boozy Christmas party.
Welcome to the Advent Engine! It’s that special time of year when Games Workshop’s teaser department kicks into overdrive and we get the Advent Engine every day for (almost) a month! For today’s tease we’ve got an open bar… of sorts. We can’t quite read the labels here so you might want to be careful what you’re mixing. I’m sure the bottle with a skull is just for decoration.
“What happens if you mix the Advent Engine with today? This new teaser that we reckon is someone’s Christmas present – a chemistry set!”
Advent Engine ‘Alchemical Concoction’
Well according to the text from WarCom this is (maybe) a chemistry set. Regardless if it’s a chemistry set or an open bar I’m going to hold off drinking any potions mixed by the owner. That does bring up the next big question though: Who does this belong to?
Back in the day, I would have thought maybe it was for one of the wizards from the various colleges of magic. But that might not be the case any more. We also got a previous Advent Engine that had a ghostly hand pouring out another concoction, too.
Could these be related? That’s entirely possible. That does make me wonder what the heck this person is whipping up in their lab. The wood and other implements could most certainly be part of the Nighthaunt. They can have some rather extravagant set pieces their ghostly forms interact with.
It could also be something from a more lively faction. Cities of Sigmar come to mind. There’s also Kharadron Overlords who dabble in alchemy, too. Although they tend to have a bit more metal around.
Whatever this one turns out to be, it’s going to be a surprise! But if you’ve got theories drop them in the comments. We’re just as curious as you are!
