Games Workshop: Advent Engine Day 23 – ‘Deadly Drip’
The latest Advent Engine from Games Workshop is out and this deadly drip has nothing to do with fashion. What could this mix possibly be?
Welcome to the Advent Engine! It’s that special time of year when Games Workshop’s teaser department kicks into overdrive and we get the Advent Engine every day for (almost) a month! The title says it all this time around. Someone is mixing a potion and the label might be a strong warning. I wouldn’t want to take a sip from this concoction!
“We think the Advent Engine is finally tiring of its role bringing festive joy as it presents its penultimate picture – which appears to be poisonous! Please be careful with this one. We’d hate it if anything happened to you.”
Advent Engine ‘Deadly Drip’
This is actually the second (or possibly third) Advent Engine we’ve had that as something to do with a potion getting mixed. And those ghastly hands are back once again mixing the brew. I’m really starting to think that the Nighthaunt are getting some sort of new ghostly potion master in the future.
Day 19 – ‘Alchemical Concoction’
Could these be connected? I sure hope so! What’s even more curious is that this is a second set of hands. I wonder if we’re going to get one of those diorama style units with multiple ghosts on the base. I could seem some Nighthaunt Alchemist mixing poisons. I’m not sure what sort of ingame effect that would have with the Nighthaunt being ethereal.
If this one isn’t Nighthaunt related I’d be surprised but also excited. That means GW is adding ghosts in a different faction. That’s also kinda cool! I hope we don’t have to wait a whole year to find out what this one ends up being.
