Warhammer Miniature of the Year 2023 Winner
The 2023 Warhammer Miniature of the Year, as voted for by the fans, has been declared. Did your favorite model win?
This year Games Workshop put out an impressive number of miniatures. That said, the top two miniatures of the year were only separated by a (relative) handful of votes. It was a close margin, for sure. So who won? Folks, your 2023 Miniature of the Year winner is…
Lion El’Jonson! Waking up from his long slumber, the Lion is back and ready to get some work done! He’s had a pretty good year, and quite fittingly, he didn’t just beat his brother in the lore. He also beat him by popular vote!
Yes, Angron got 2nd place, and that’s pretty nuts! But leave it to a Primarch to beat a Primarch, I suppose. And just to round out the top three…
Commander Farsight ended up at third place. It’s interesting that all three of these characters were updated with the Arks of Omen storyline and got miniatures from that as well. Again, there were some fantastic miniatures this year, and we’re looking forward to 2024.
Did your favorite miniature win? There were a lot of others to choose from. The Dawnbringers series from AoS has brought in some fantastic kits. Leviathan unleashed a ton of Space Marines and Tyranid characters. Plus, there were all the other releases from this year. Commander Dante, The Norn Emissary, and even Belthanos were no match for these battling brother Primarchs!
So many cool miniatures probably flew under the radar but were up for a vote. Let us know in the comments what your favorite miniature was!
Just one more thing for Angron to be mad about…
