Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist – Grey Knight Dreadknight Posse
Grey Knights got a nice little update this past Balance Dataslate. Here’s a Dreadknight Posse list that can purge it’s way to victory.
The Grey Knights are rebounding in the Meta with tweaks to some of their Dreadknight Weapons and giving an extra pip of AP. This is huge as it helps tweak some of their damage output and, of course, lets the army work a little bit better. It also doesn’t help that I have SIX! Dreadknights from my time, back in the day, when they got their initial update.
It’s pretty easy to see this list will be six Dreadknights and most likely some support for them. I went with fewer bodies on the table as my old age makes it hard to move around tons of models as they teleport around. The army is a heavy movement-style list, and to play it, I would need to quickly move, respond, and limit interaction as I flow around the table top.
I do think all the TechMarines are a bit much and, if I were really going to play this, I’d look at some other things to help shore up some damage potential. This might mean another Terminator unit or just other other things. I keep looking at Purgation squads and setting up layers of no LOS shooting. But that is a thought for another time if I feel like playing this.

Using the Dreadknight Posse
This Grey Knights armylist build out is based on what minis of mine are painted and built like with the six Dreadknights. It feels it might work. It has a ton of tough bodies, constant movement, and is always being to shoot/assault/etc. The Terminators will be a great smash-in unit with the Draigo update to getting a +3 to charge into something.
