Games Workshop Rumor Engine: Antlers For All
There’s a brand new Rumor Engine and Games Workshop has basically told us what this one is…Or did they?
Most Rumor Engines are trying to be sly about what we’re looking at. But sometimes GW throws that out the window and just comes right out and tells us what we’ve got in the picture. It’s antlers this week. See for yourself.
“Well this one’s easy. There are loads of antlers in Warhammer – this could be a Kurnothi, a Bretonnian Paladin, or a Christmas Squig.”
Antlers For All
They go on to say “it’s none of those.” So at least we can throw a few obvious ones out. At least we know those are indeed antlers. I guess the next question is if those are antlers, who are they attached to?
The GUO has antlers, too!
Another question is are these antlers “alive” or are they part of a trophy or helmet? The ribbons on them are kinda strange so that makes me think maybe they have been taken from their original host and attached to something else. But GW did say it wasn’t a Bretonnian Paladin…
Then again, maybe it’s just them being cheeky. Perhaps it’s some other Bretonnian unit or some other character from The Old World.
Let’s not forget that the Wood Elf Realms are going to be a part of The Old World line at some point. They have had quite a few units in the past with antlers, too.
Anyhow, this one is vague enough that it could end up being a lot of different things. If you’ve got any clues drop them in the comments and share them with the rest of us. This one is a tough one to crack because it’s obviously antlers. That said, I’m rather curious what this one could turn out to be.
