Beadle & Grimm’s ‘Vecna: Eve of Ruin’ Platinum Edition Features an actual Rod of Seven Parts, Vecna
Vecna himself is embodied in Beadle & Grimm’s new Platinum Edition of Vecna: Eve of Ruin, alongside your very own Rod of Seven Parts.
Beadle & Grimm, purveyors of deluxe campaign boxed sets and other gaming accessories, return with another big box of adventure. Vecna: Eve of Ruin gets a Platinum Edition from B&G. Complete with notes, letters, maps, minis (including one of the Archlich himself), as well as your very own Rod of Seven Parts.
If you’ve never seen one of these before, a B&G Platinum box is a limited-edition adventure in a box. They usually give you everything you need to run the adventure, with minis for the encounters courtesy of WizKids, battle maps lovingly pre-rendered on their own sheets, and everything collected so you can just grab what you need as you play.
And this one is up for pre-order right now. It was pre-ordered so hard it broke the website, at press time, though it seems that the page should be back up shortly.

And, of course, the Rod of Seven Parts. Which is a centerpiece accessory for B&G in this adventure. But it’s not a life-size replica, but rather a “life-sized” set of aluminum played artifact cards that you can assemble into the titular artifact:
And it’s huge, too, at almost 3 feet when fully assembled. This seems like a cool and practical way to do this, honestly. It’s playable, it’s a cool visual and will look amazing when assembled at the table.
Also, there are 10 new handouts, 16 battle maps, and encounter cards for all the major encounters. The full works. All of which you can preorder now.
Look for Vecna: Eve of Ruin Platinum Edition later this year!
