Winston from John Wick sets the stage for next week’s release of Dragon’s Dogma 2. Listen to Ian McShane explain it all.

Picking a narrator is important. Capcom has made perhaps the best choice for their latest presentation, as none other than Winston himself, Ian McShane, narrates an introduction to the wild and dangerous fantasy world of Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you’ve ever wanted to hear Al Swearingen warn you about the dangers of the undead or Winston tell you about how Sorcerers wield magic, this trailer is not to be missed.

Ian McShane Narrates Us All Into Dragon’s Dogma 2, No Really

Even if you’re not into the Dragon’s Dogma series, which, hey, I get it, nobody’s perfect. But even then, it’s still absolutely worth it to hear Ian McShane putting in a solid day’s work to break down the world inhabited by the Arisen, Pawns, and of course, the dread Dragon.

Watch this new Dragon’s Dogma 2 trailer, featuring Ian McShane. Learn about the fantasy world and lore of Dragon’s Dogma 2 as star Ian McShane gives a breakdown of what you can expect from the upcoming action RPG. Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on March 22, 2024.

You can create your Arisen and main Pawn with the Dragon Dogma 2’s character creator & storage tool, available to download now for free on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

Dragon’s Dogma 2, like its predecessor, tells the story of the Arisen, a person chosen by destiny, marked by fate (and also a big ol’ dragon), to rise from the trappings of mortal life, and become a figure worthy of being the guardian of the world.

At least, that’s how it used to be. Who knows what will be different for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Anything’s possible once you have a character creator who can account for a surprisingly lifelike Shrek. But, as Ian McShane explains, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is even bigger and more open than before.

You’ll visit two different nations. One where the Arisen is seen as a welcomed hero. A prophesied champion, here to save everyone from utter ruin. And in another? The Arisen is an Outlander, and the Pawns they travel with are an ominous sign of doom foretold.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 releases on March 22nd!

Which will you be? Hero or villain?
