Warhammer: Two Previews Shows Coming Next Week
Games Workshop is going to host two major Warhammer Preview Shows next week. Mark your calendars for these events.
Next week is going to be a big deal for Warhammer fans. Not only will GW be hosting the Dallas Open but they’ve also got TWO Warhammer Preview Shows lined up. The first one is going to be the big announcements and reveals for the new edition of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The second will be all the reveals for the 40k side of the house.
“You’ll see it all for the first time at a live event broadcast from the Dallas Open, where we’ll reveal the name of the box and show off everything inside. Then there’ll be a series of demo Spearhead games hosted by commentators Paul, Nick and Adam, and there’ll even be an appearance from some special guests.”
On Thursday, May 16, 2024 the first preview show will kick off. This is going to be BIG as GW is going to show off the new launch box for Age of Sigmar. GW is also going to be showing off Spearhead games and have more commentary on the new edition, too.
Following that up, two days later, we’re going to get the second preview show:
On Saturday, May 18th, 2024 GW will have another preview for all things non-Age of Sigmar. This will include Warhammer 40,000, Horus Heresy, Legions Imperialis, and Necromunda reveals. It should be a good one to check out!
If you can’t make it to the event live, that’s okay! Games Workshop will be streaming these on their Twitch Channel. So tune in for all the reveals live. Check the respective time zones listed above as well!
One Last Thing…
Oh wait, there’s just one more thing to know about this Warhammer Event. There’s also going to be a bit of a grudge match happening on the stream, too. This is a special preview of the Matched Play mode of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar’s new edition.
If you’re a competitive player of Age of Sigmar, or really anyone looking to see Matched Play in action, then you’re going to want to pop in for this game. This will be the new edition and it will have the current World Champion Nicholas Tassone facing off against runner-up Tom Mawdsley. It should be a good game! Mark your calendars and set alarm because this one is sure to have some fireworks.
The Weekend of the Dallas Open is going to be plenty busy!
