Pathfinder’s ‘Abomination Vaults’, At Long Last, Is Available For D&D 5E
Pathfinder’s legendary Abomination Vaults adventure path comes to 5th Edition D&D. Will you survive the megadungeon?
Pathfinder’s Abomination Vaults is a legendary megadungeon. Deep within this sprawling dungeon, an evil sorcerer once tried to raise an army of monsters. And for the most part, they’ve been inside there for a good long while—so much so that it has become its own internecine system of biomes and themed wings.
Naturally, this is where your adventurers will be heading. And once they’re there, they will have a whole dungeon that can take them from levels 1 through 20 to deal with.
This isn’t the first time a Pathfinder Adventure Path has crossed over to 5th Edition. Kingmaker has done so before, at least. But this does mark one of the biggest adventure paths to jump to 5E. It is out as of today on shelves, with the PDF coming May 22nd.
Pathfinder Adventure Path: Abomination Vaults 5E
This one has been a long time coming. Announced back in 2022, the adventure path has been “up for pre-order” a couple of times. But the world being what it has been, there have been delays. Still, delaying from “Mid-November ’22” to “May ’24” is quite the jump. But, if you’re looking for a really good Dungeon Crawl, this one may well have been worth the wait.
When the mysterious Gauntlight, an eerie landlocked lighthouse, glows with baleful light, the people of Otari know something terrible is beginning. Evil stirs in the depths of the Abomination Vaults, a sprawling dungeon where a wicked sorcerer attempted to raise an army of monsters hundreds of years ago. The town’s newest heroes must venture into a sprawling dungeon filled with beasts and traps to prevent a spiteful spellcaster from rising again!
This complete compilation of the original Adventure Path campaign has been adapted to the newest version of the world’s oldest RPG. You’ve heard about the quality and depth of Pathfinder campaigns for years—now explore the Abomination Vaults yourself without having to learn a new game system!
Content Warning: While Abomination Vaults contains typical Pathfinder action and adventure, it also presents themes of suicide, ableism, body horror, and human experimentation. Before you begin, understand that player consent (including that of the Game Master) is vital to a safe and fun play experience for everyone. You should talk with your players before beginning the adventure and modify descriptions or scenarios as appropriate.
