Mothership 1E – The Sci-Fi RPG Of Death and Betrayal in Space – Is Here
The sci-fi horror RPG Mothership gets a full 1st Edition release starting this week. Get ready to die in space in the worst ways.
Mothership 1E is out at last. And space will never be safe again. Not that it ever was all that safe to begin with. After all, as we all know, space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence. Add to that murderous intrigue and malevolent artificial intelligence, and you’ve got Mothership 1E.
We’ve talked about Mothership before here on BoLS. It is a fantastic game of horror and science fiction. You’ll find secret agendas, rules for stress, panic, and worse in the depths of space. And it works across many levels, whether you play a single session, a short, harrowing campaign, or a long haul campaign where the dread builds week by week.
Now, you can purchase the Core Bundle, which includes everything you need to play the game.
Mothership 1E Arrives in all its Dread Glory
Inside the Mothership 1E Core Bundle, you’ll find a whole campaign in a box, along with the full version of each of the core rulebooks. In this boxed set, you get so much to play with.
There’s the Player’s Survival Guide, which is all the character creation/player rules you need. In the new edition, everything has been streamlined and updated, of course, but generally, you know what you’re getting here.
But you also get the Warden’s Operations Manual, a sort of Gamemaster’s Guide, if you will. As well as the Unconfirmed Contact Reports, which is your guide to running sci-fi horror encounters and even making your own monsters. On top of that, you’ll find the Shipbreaker’s Toolkit, which is all about designing ships, and the introductory module, Another Bug Hunt.
On top of all that, you also get a monochrome poster map, Warden’s screen, a set of dice for laying the game, and more than a dozen punchboard pawns.
