This ‘Arcane’ Vi Closet Cosplay is Hot, Cupcake
We’re gearing up for Season 2 of Arcane; this Vi closet cosplay will keep your dukes up.
League of Legends continues to imagine some seriously unique heroes and plot points. They’re launching the second season of the animated show Arcane, which brings us closer to Jinx and Vi, two of LoL‘s most iconic characters.
Since we’ve already created a great Jinx closet cosplay, it’s time we did the same for her sister. The gritty, protective Vi is constantly trying to help her family stay safe. Here’s a tribute to sisterhood—the Vi closet cosplay!
Vi Closet Cosplay: The Jacket
Vi rocks a seriously cool red jacket throughout the series. Any red jacket you’re confident in will do the trick (bonus points for something lived-in and a bit dirty). The elements I focused on were the open front, side pockets, and collar.
The only real difference here is the material and the shade, but you get the point. I can’t stop drooling over how soft this suede looks!
Vi Closet Cosplay: The Shirt
Vi actually has a few different layered shirts, but this one combines those elements well. White fitted shirt, with a blue collared top. Something fitted and minimal will let the other elements shine.
Vi Closet Cosplay: The Pants
A pant like Vis was surprisingly hard to search for. I had a difficult time narrowing down which search terms worked best. A wide, vertical strip on a loose-fitting pant, with a nicely tapered top. Good luck in your own search, I imagine something from a ren faire or some tech-wear might go great!
Vi Closet Cosplay: The Boots
Vi has a really cool cut of boot that can be replicated in many different ways. I didn’t want to go full pirate boot, so this option was great. Just enough visual interest, and some cool layering of different materials.
Vi Closet Cosplay: The Gloves
Vi comes ready for combat everywhere she goes. These wraps are legit for the practice mat, or for the costume arena!
