New DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – ‘A Dance of Masks’ is a Fond Farewell
Have one last big fling with your whole party in the latest DLC for Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous: A Dance of Masks.
At the end of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous’ season 2 of DLC comes A Dance of Masks. This is your chance to have a last hurrah with your companions as you engage in games and celebrations, and even a little romance. If you’ve made such a connection with your companions, that is.
The new DLC isn’t all fun and games though. In addition to a festival where you can have some downtime with your favorite NPCs and new romance scenes for your lovers, there’s a host of new player options as well.
I mean, this is Pathfinder, after all. It just wouldn’t seem right without new character archetypes and weapons.
Wrath of the Righteous – A Dance of Masks, Available Now
Head to the rebuilt after fire Kenabres to spend time with your team at the festival! Enjoy the festivities and unravel the plot of the mysterious guest who has arrived just in time for your arrival. Complete your team and evaluate your skills in the arena. Celebrate your victories in the tavern, but don’t forget to save your energy for a romantic date with your significant other. It’s time for a well-deserved rest and new achievements!
The DLC kicks off in Chapter 5, so you’ll need to reload an old save and then wait for Arsinoe to arrive at the Drezen Citadel after the coronation. Or you could always start off as one of the 11 new character archetypes you’ll find therein:
- A new adventure will take you back to Kenabres and beyond: to a new enemy’s stronghold!
- Personal events for every companion — you’ve seen them fight, now watch them have a day off;
- A new romantic event with every romanceable companion;
- An otherworldly arena where you can test your might against some truly mythic enemies;
- 11 new character archetypes, a new weapon type, and the ability to switch your grip on the weapon from one-handed to two-handed!
- Fully voiced dialogues!
If you’re wondering, here’s a taste of what you can play. Rangers get the Sable Company Marine (and a hippogriff companion).
Maguses get the Alucard-inspired Bladebound. Warpriests get the Mantis Zealot archetype, while Kineticists have the Kinetic Sharpshooter to play with. Meanwhile Arcanists get to play with the Magic Deceiver and fuse spells together, Monks get Drunken Masters, Slayers can become Bloodseekers, Bards get the infamous Chelaxian Diva, Skalds can become Inciters, Fighters are Titan Fighters, and Inquisitors get the Living Grimoire.
That’s a lot of options. Meaning that each playthrough can play wildly different. So if you’re hungry for a reason to start a new playthrough, you might want to snag Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – A Dance of Masks, available now.
