Titmouse Animation: Studio Behind ‘Legend of Vox Machina’ Announces ‘Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents’
It’s not every day that an award-winning animation studio announces that it is publishing a tabletop RPG, but that’s what’s happening folks.
Titmouse is a legendary animation studio. You might not know them by name, since we as a culture tend to obscure the vast amounts of people that go into making a thing, focusing instead on the narrative of “one person made this” or “one person’s vision made this”—but you’ve certainly enjoyed their work. From The Legend of Vox Machina most recently, to works like The Venture Bros., and Star Trek: Lower Decks, Titmouse produces amazing things.
And soon, tabletop roleplaying games will be one of the thigns the studio does, when they publish Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents, a tabletop RPG of “irreverent, chaotic adventure that blends role-playing, drinking, and 420-culture into an unforgettable experience.”
Titmouse’s RPG Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents Wants You to Party
It seems like working on The Legend of Vox Machina has rubbed off on Titmouse. Because the game is basically a game of playing the lovable doinks that Vox Machina were at the very beginning of their campaign, you know, before all the dragons and conflicts with gods and the feels. It’s a game about saving a humble village from malevolent monsters while downing flagons of ale, casks of bourbon, and whole fields of, uh, “fine herb” shall we say.
And if that doesn’t capture the quintessential RPG experience, I don’t know what does.
“Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents is a party game with role-playing elements that thrives on the creativity and boldness of its participants. Players take on the roles of rebellious adventurers, fueled by their drink or substance of choice, and navigate a world where chaos reigns supreme. Players will take on quests that challenge not only their wits, but also their tolerance. Combining satire, absurditiy, and freeform roleplay, this party game invites players to let loose and enjoy an unpredictable experience full of laughs and surprises.”
