D&D toon powers, an adorable orc-elf baby, and minor household magic are all in this week’s 5E compatible roundup.

It’s time to roll the dice on new releases! Come check out this week’s batch of brand-new 5E compatible tabletop role-playing games.

An Elf and an Orc Had a Little Baby

Cover art for 'An Elf and an Orc Had a Little Baby' shows an orc and an elf cradling a baby.

Now you can play an elf-orc raised by dwarves! Or a gnome-halfling raised by kobolds! Even a grung-warforged raised in Avernus is a possibility!

“…this supplement is truly an informed, aware and inspired step forward in continuing discussion about who, how and what makes up a D&D character, and how to create them just how we envision them.” – Curse of Sebs

An Elf and an Orc Had a Little Baby is a rules supplement that entirely replaces chapter 2 of the Player’s Handbook. Instead of D&D’s bioessentialist approach, this title separates biological traits and cultural traits into two categories: parentage and upbringing.

Bend Until Broken

Cover art for 'Bend Until Broken' shows a man with large features and a shadow that could be a dee-like creature or a twisted tree.

Bend Until Broken is a 5E Cthulhu Mythos adventure for characters of Level 4-5. A village deep in the woods is being harassed by a crazy wizard. Their only crime: planting their crops in straight lines. All they need from those adventurers willing to take the job is to see that a heavy chest is offered as payment to the wizard—convince him (one way or another) to leave them alone. And while it becomes clear that the wizard certainly is unwell, one might wonder what manner of treasure such a poor village in the middle of nowhere could manage to scrounge up and offer as a suitable bribe.

Pickpocketing Expanded

Cover art for 'Pickpocketing Expanded' shows a quiet town at night with yellow floating lanterns, people walk down the street.

Enhance your games with new rules, approaches, and consequences for pickpocketing! Includes 7 unique d100 loot tables for varying levels of wealth!

This supplement looks to provide rules that create a fun minigame of skill checks, strategy, different solutions, and possible consequences for pickpocketing. Pickpocketing shouldn’t only be available to the Rogue! The Wizard tries to use Mage Hand to pickpocket the distracted noble? How do you rule an attempt for pickpocketing where the Bard distracts the onlookers while an accomplice digs through their pockets?

Wonder no more! Pickpocketing Expanded provides step-by-step rules and mechanics for pickpocketing. From identifying a target and determining their wealth, to rules for countless different pickpocketing approaches and strategies, to filling the target’s pockets and determining the loot, or determining the consequences that are to be faced if the attempt is failed! Does the wretched peasant fight back? Does the aristocrat blackmail you into their political schemes?

Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

Cover art for 'Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep' shows a wo]man and child touching foreheads and holding hands.

No one can be sure if household spells are the origin of more powerful magic or intentional mimicry of the tools of legendary heroes. Some folks point to the similarities between the verbal components and prayers whispered by parents as they tuck in their children. Others suspect the same capricious fey the wards were meant to repel were responsible for spreading and developing the powerful magic.

But as adventurers travel far from home, they find the same terrors that went bump in the night threatening the very balance of the cosmos. And the prayers and stuffed animals that protected them when they were dewy-eyed children are the same weapons that will save the world from the encroaching darkness…

The Fearless Four

Cover art for 'The Fearless Four' shows a cartoony dungeon with floating skulls, and gloved cartoon hands holding a D20. At the bottom a cartoony cauldron, pumpkin, sheet-ghost, and green sphere with eyes and legs are walking.

A 5e compatible one-shot for 2-5 players! Step into the inky world of your own rubber-hose style cartoon to save the Toon Realm from certain doom! So warm up your narrator voice, get your ginormous hammers ready and don’t forget lunch!
