GW says all of these kits go up for preorder on October 19, and have a street date of November 2.
Rise of the Dark Mechanicum $52 €41 £31.50
“Chart the opening salvoes of the Schism of Mars in Rise of the Dark Mechanicum, the latest expansion book for Legions Imperialis. This in-depth supplement introduces Loyalist and Traitor factions of the Mechanicum to the epic scale battlefields of the Horus Heresy, as the Dark Mechanicum throw their lot in with Horus and put their dark artifice to the test in open battle.
The narrative and missions included in this book centre around the Doom of Magma City, a sprawling conflict that set the stage for the Mechanicum’s wider role in the Heresy. Linked missions and new rules for an Escalation Campaign – which tasks players with building up their forces before culminating in a final do-or-die battle – appear alongside army lists for Mechanicum Taghmata and Dark Mechanicum forces, as well as full rules for fielding armies entirely composed of Titans and Questoris Knights.”
Mechanicum Battle Group $160 €125 £95
“Is there any better way to play out the Schism of Mars than with a mechanical battle host all of your own? The Mechanicum Battle Group is a full army in a box, packing so many new miniatures together that we can’t possibly list them all here – though you can check out our reveal of the set to see them all in detail.
This army set is a great way to start a new army in Legions Imperialis, whether you’re an existing commander looking for a new challenge, or a devoted Mechanicum adept eager to get their hands on epic-scale miniatures. There are 146 individual models in all!”

Knight House Battle Group $ € £ TBD
“War can be so uncivilised at times, and what it really needs is the good airs and graces of the Knight Households to show them how it’s done right. If the thought of charging headlong into honourable combat in a building-sized mechanical monster stirs your heart, go for the Knight House Battle Group – containing four Cerastus Knight Lancers, six Questoris Knights, and a pair of Acastus Knight Porphyrions.
Rules for using an army entirely composed of Knight Household units can be found in Rise of the Dark Mechanicum.”
Titan Battle Group $ € £ TBD
“Infantry? Tanks? Pah, we don’t need that rabble where we’re going – take a straight shot through to Titan Town, where warriors are warriors, and a gun smaller than a school bus might as well be a pocket knife. The Titan Battle Group is an awesome assemblage of earthshaking military might, packing a Warlord Titan, a Reaver Titan, and two Warhound Scout Titans into one convenient box that can be deployed as an independent army with the rules found in Rise of the Dark Mechanicum.”

Mechanicum Army Cards $27.50 €21.50 £16.50
“When you’re immersed in the epic-scale battles of Legions Imperialis, you don’t want to break your focus by rifling through a book, and this set of 32 quick reference cards for Mechanicum Taghmata and Dark Mechanicum armies is the best way to keep your eyes on the prize. Each pack contains Formation and Detachment cards for every unit available to both factions, though you will need the rules found in Rise of the Dark Mechanicum to make full use of them.”
Manufactorum Imperialis Sector $178.50 €145 £110
“An army always performs better when it’s got something really cool to fight over – it’s true, we tested it – and for our more mechanically aligned friends from Mars there’s nothing better than a busy forge-complex of silos, pipes, and cranes. The Manufactorum Imperialis Sector includes dozens of individual terrain pieces to accessorise your Legions Imperialis board, and looks great scattered around a few Civitas City Road tiles alongside your more traditional hab-blocks and spires.”
