Critical Role turns 10 next year, and they’re celebrating with some stunning new live shows, including a game of Daggerheart!

Critical Role announced their live show lineup for next year – and it’s a big list because the venerable liveplay campaign turns 10! This is a feat matched by only a few others in the space, like Friends at the Table, who did it back in September of this year, and Acquisitions Inc., which is now 16 and will have been through three different editions of D&D.

But for Critical Role‘s ten-year anniversary, they are going big with some innovative new live shows. These include one where fans will get to decide what characters the cast plays and even a game of Daggerheart set in the world of Exandria, marking the first time that system plays in the world that started it all for Critical Role.

What else did they announce? Here’s the lineup.

Critical Role Announces 2025 Lineup

There are five new shows all in all:

  • April 10th – Chicago
  • June 19th – Sydney
  • June 25th – Melbourne
  • August 2nd – Indianapolis
  • October 7th – New York City

Each of these shows has a different premise and different experience. The Chicago show will let the audience decide which main campaign characters the cast will play as. The audience gets to decide the party.

Australia gets two shows, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne, which mashes up party members from two different campaigns across two connected one-shots. Both shows will be emceed by Australian national treasure Tom Cardy, whom you might know from the song Have You Checked Your Butthole? and There’s A Bunch Of Draclias (And They’re All Playing Flute). So that’s an added bonus.

Then, in Indianapolis, at Gen Con, they will be playing in Exandria once more. But this time, with a new game system: Daggerheart. This marks the first time that the campaign setting is used with a system other than D&D. It’s also the first time that Daggerheart is being used for Exandria – at least by the Critical Role cast. And it’s a pretty big move for a show at Gen Con.

Then, in New York, Fjord and Jester get married, and won’t that be lovely?
