Warhammer Next Week: Underworlds Embergard And A Bomb Happy Red Gobbo
Next week, Warhammer Underworlds gets its new edition and core set, while Da Red Gobbo has gifts for one and all, naughty or nice.
Is it that time of year already? Has Da Red Gobbo come out to redistribute wealth in the form of explosives to all the good little inhabitants of the grim darkness of the distant future? It seems so. He might be coming earlier every year, but that’s because the Warp distorts time for everyone, Gobbo or not.
Along with an incredible new holiday mini, though, you’ll also have a chance to snag the new core set of Warhammer Underworlds. This time it’s Embergard, which is impossible to say without thinking of a meme out of the hazy vista of the beforetimes.
Though, you won’t find any goosebumps in this Underworlds set. You will, however, find new minis and more.
Red Gobbo’s Return, Embergard’s Debut – Next Week
Just take a good look at this good Gobbo. All he wants to do is bring the gift of Explosives to everyone in the galaxy. What better way to inject some levity this Candlemass.
This clever Grot has mixed high-yield explosive with all the festivity of a snowman. Making sure to have a little something for everyone. But, speaking of everyone – if you want one of these minis, they will only be available “while stocks last.” So you may want to snag yours early.
And then there’s Embergard. This new starter set kicks off the new version of Warhammer Underworlds. Inside the box are four new playstyles, and two new warbands. There’s the Stormcast Eternals and theor Emberwatch, fresh from the Vanguard Chamber. And they face off against Zimkit’s Tunnelpack. Can these vagabonds from Clan Skryre take them down? Only you can find out.
You’ll also get four Rivals decks as well as a rulebook, quick start guide, and tokens, dice, a game board and all the other little things you’ll need.
And for those of you playing Horus Heresy? A set of Legiones Astartes upgrades. These are the melee weapons upgrade sprue. Here you’ll find all the close combat weapons you could want. From Swords to Pistols and everything in between, along with a variety of arms, hands, and heads.
