D&D Gets A Stout And Bourbon For Its 50th Anniversary
Of all the 50th anniversary releases, this is certainly one of them. D&D gets its own stout and bourbon as part of a limited release.
Would you drink a fresh new pint of Dragon’s Milk? Wizards of the Coast and New Holland Brewing & Distilling seem to think so. Because starting in just over two weeks on November 16th (and it should be illegal to be November 16th in two weeks), you’ll be able to get hold of a limited-edition D20 Brew that celebrates D&D’s 50th anniversary.
It makes a weird kind of sense to see this. After all, D&D frequently happens in taverns, where adventurers quaff mugs of ale. And Dragon’s Milk is milk from a dragon. You know, the flying lizards from D&D. But Dragon’s Milk is also a popular stout and bourbon.
It makes perfect sense that as part of the D20 Brew, we’d see a D&D stout and bourbon. Starting November 16th, you can find them in stores. But if you’re wondering what makes a stout or bourbon “D&D” you can find out below!
D&D Stout and Bourbon As Part of Dragon’s Milk’s D20 Brew
New Holland will be adding the D20 Brew to its Dragon’s Milk line in the form of a barrel-aged stout and origin mead cask bourbon whiskey. Both drinks, though, will have their very own themed packaging.
Naturally, there’s some limited-edition merch to celebrate the collaboration, including a D&D and Dragon’s Milk beanie, a baseball cap, a T-shirt, and a snifter. All are available online at Dragon’s Milk’s website.
“Dragon’s Milk is rolling out its most critical roll yet: a limited edition Dragon’s Milk x Dungeons & Dragons D20 Brew. […] In Celebration of Dungeons & Dragons’ 50th Anniversry, let us raise our glasses to the spirit of collaboration – a foundation of the game and the friendships forged around the tale. Dragon’s Milk is brewed with the same passion that fuels our D&D adventures – each sip evokes the warmth of the tavern, the thrill of victory, and the laughter that brings us together.”
As this will be a limited release, your window to enjoy it may not be open for very long. But you can pre-order now at Dragon’s Milk’s website, where you can also find the merchandise mentioned above.
Happy quaffing!
