Warhammer: World Championships Preview Announced

The Warhammer World Championships are coming the weekend of November 22, 2024. On that day GW has a new Warhammer Preview show planned and they are promising some HUGE reveals…

While we don’t have a ton of info we at least know the game systems that are going to be featured in the preview.
- Warhammer: The Old World
- Warhammer: 40,000
- Warhammer: Age of Sigmar
- Warhammer: The Horus Heresy
One thing to note about The Horus Heresy is that we could be seeing reveals for the Age of Darkness or for Legions Imperialis. Although realistically anything is up for the preview because if you listen carefully at the end there’s a quick “…and more.” At the end of the day, we’re just going to have to watch the preview to find out exactly what GW has planned.
Personally, I’m really just looking for more info at this point. By the time we get to the preview I’m really not expecting GW to drop any major new kits in December. The holidays are going to be in full swing and that means a focus on shopping and shipping. However, I’m betting the big reveals will be looking ahead to January 2025. And beyond.
There are still a few products that are slated for a release before 2025 though. For example, the Slaves to Darkness Battletome from the Roadmap is listed. I’m not sure if we’ll see any new kits however. Perhaps just some reboxes of existing ones for the release. Looking at you Abraxia.
If anything I’m just hoping this preview gives us something to be excited about going into 2025. Who knows — maybe GW’s “Huge Reveals” really will be HUGE!
